MC14 Mini Canvas Print Gerald Dawavendewa (Hopi & Cherokee) With a prayer bundle of corn and feathers, a parrot gathers these good blessings outward toward the world. The indigenous people of the southwest have traded parrots and their feathers from native groups in what is now Mexico for over two millennia. The Parrot represents the direction south and the color red which is found in the rainbows that arrive with the rain clouds. Mini Canvas print 6 inches square (15.24 cm square) Print uses fade and water-resistant ink. Print image wraps around the edges over a wood frame with a sawtooth hanger.  A clear resealable envelope with a hanging tab protects the print. Card on backside includes: A description of the print. A biography of the artist. Information about the indigenous culture.
